Practical winter support for local whānau, combining everyday essentials, grocery support and energy assistance to help households stay warm, well-fed and supported through the colder months
Winter Wellness has wrapped up for the year — thanks to our community partners we delivered just over 170 packs to whānau across the rohe.
Each winter The Lines Company delivers Power it Forward: Winter Wellness — a coordinated initiative to support households across our network who may be doing it tough during the colder months.
It brings Winter Wellness Packs and Power it Forward energy credits together into a single, community-led approach: practical support in the home, and relief on power costs.
Practical items that make a cold house easier to live in and cheaper to heat, distributed through local community organisations who know their people.
Credits generated by our community solar projects, applied to the power accounts of households who need the relief most.
We partner with local organisations
Marae, foodbanks, health and social services, schools — the people already alongside whānau through winter.
They identify the households
Support is directed by local knowledge, not a form — so it stays dignity-preserving and lands where it's needed.
Packs and credits go out together
Warmth in the home and relief on the bill, delivered as one coordinated push through the season.
Packed, loaded and delivered alongside our community partners.
