ELECTRICITY CUSTOMER CONNECTION PRICING

Depending on your project, we may need to invest in new or upgraded network assets to supply electricity to your development.

This may be in the form of assets dedicated to your development, or assets that supply multiple customers (new or existing shared assets) and require further investment to facilitate supply.

When there are wider network benefits to the upgrade (over and above getting you connected), costs of new, or of upgrades to existing, connections may be shared.

Due to a change in ownership and renewed business contracts, as of 1 September 2025, The Lines Company can no longer install, replace or repair electricity meters.

Meter box installations, upgrades, replacements and fault investigations are now handled by your electricity retailer and their Metering Equipment Provider (MEP). In the TLC network area, the MEP is Intellihub.

If you need a new meter, a replacement or have a metering fault, please contact your electricity retailer directly. TLC is no longer the primary contact for this work.

Your retailer will arrange for their MEP (Intellihub) to carry out the necessary work.

There are three contractors operating in the TLC network area that are licensed to carry out this work for Intellihub. They are:
