Community Funding Rounds

Each year, The Lines Company provides sponsorship funding to support initiatives that strengthen and uplift our communities across the network. Through three annual funding rounds, we partner with local groups, organisations, schools, and community-led initiatives that are creating positive impact — whether through supporting young people and whānau, improving wellbeing, delivering local events, or helping communities thrive.

Funding opportunities are available three times a year during these months:

  • February
  • June
  • October

 

Only applications submitted during these months will be considered.

Each applicant can apply for up to $1,000.

What you will need: 

  • A verified copy of your bank account (must be an organisation, cannot be a personal)
  • We encourage you to include a quote for materials or services for which the funding is being requested for

Eligibility

 


We are more likely to approve funding for:

  • Community groups
  • Kohanga, daycares and schools
  • Sports clubs
  • Charitable organisations
  • Non-profit organisations

We are less likely to approve funding for:

  • Individuals
  • Travel-only requests
  • Ongoing operational costs
  • Fundraising costs

Application Submissions & Assessment Process

  1. Submit your application online
  2. Applications are reviewed after the funding round closes
  3. All applicants are contacted before the last day of the following month with the outcome of their application.
  4. Successful recipients are required to provide an invoice to TLC within 10 business days of being notified.
  5. Funding is distributed to approved recipients
