Christmas Lights Competition
Light up King Country this Christmas!
Light up King Country this Christmas!
Thank you to everyone who entered our Christmas Lights Competition and to all the public who toured the displays! It was fantastic to see so many people get involved. We had 22 entries across the network and 558 people voted. Our goal is to double these figures next year! The public votes have been tallied count, and here are our winners:
Ruapehu District:
Waitomo District:
Otorohanga District:
Congratulations to all our winners and a huge thank you to everyone who registered their lights—you truly brightened up our community. The prizes are on their way to the winners.
Making a Difference: Prize winners chose a charity to match their winnings for a donation and we are pleased to say that these are being processed. Charities are Ōtorohanga Support House, Waitomo/Waipa Women’s Refuge, Hillview Home, Ohakune Fire Brigade and Taumarunui Women’s Refuge. TLC is donating a total of $1,050 across these charities on behalf of the winners; hopefully bringing a bit of Christmas cheer to those in need.
The winner of the voting $50 voucher goes to Kirsty from Te Awamutu.
