If you move to a property and think the load portion of your TLC bill is too high for your intended use, please call us and we’ll see if you’re eligible for a kW load reassessment or load agreement.
We can look into the history of the property's load and take into consideration your previous load to see if we can lower this component of your bill.
Call us if you have made, or are thinking about making, significant changes to your installation that will reduce the kW load (eg installing insulation, moving to gas appliances, or installing a wood burner). You may be eligible for a kW load reassessment or load agreement which will lower this portion of your bill.
If your property is not up to a liveable standard, has significant contamination, or is uninhabitable because it doesn’t have essential services such as water or sewerage, we may be able to lower your kW load. Please talk to us. Evidence of the damage will be required.
